When installing the TFT USB driver with windows 8 you may not be able to install it due to the driver not being digitally signed, a warning will let you know this is the case.
Below is a guide on how to install this unsigned 3rd party driver in windows 8

When you try to install the driver you will see this warning below.

The first step to overcome this is to press win + I  to launch the charm bar, and click Change PC Settings at the bottom
Then, go to General, and scroll to the bottom of the page, click Restart Now button under Advanced Startup section. Remember to save any open files before doing this.

The computer should then reboot to a startup menu, click on
Troubleshoot

Then click on Advanced Options on the next screen

Choose Startup Settings next

Then click on the Restart button.

The computer reboots and prompts another menu to choose. One of the items is to Disable driver signature enforcement. Press 7 or F7 to continue booting to windows 8 with digital sign enforcement disabled.

You should then be able to get the Windows Security warning window offering you the option to install the driver anyway

It is then recommended once you have installed the driver to restart again but this time re-enabling the digital sign enforcement setting
