Title : Senior Electronic Design Engineer
You will be responsible for delivering products from concept through to production and monitoring their progress, reporting risks, timescales and technical issues to senior management. You will be responsible for evaluating alternative components, materials and processes to improve reliability and cost.

This is what we need you to do...

Develop product specifications to meet customer or marketing requirements.
Create product circuit design and PCB layouts using ORCAD
Prototyping of electronic circuits using SMT and through hole technologies.
Evaluate and test the components used and products developed.
Communicate with other company members, suppliers and customer engineering departments.
Complete tasks according to agreed timescales.
Occasional travel to customers and exhibitions to provide design support.


This is what we need you to have...

Proven experience in embedded microcontroller electronic circuit design.
Good knowledge of electronic components and an appreciation of mechanical design.
Ability to analyse and fault find circuit design problems.
Able to work in a well organised and self motivated way as part of a team.
An inquisitive approach driving innovation and change.
A practical approach with a focus on Quality and Customer needs.
A good level of literacy, numeracy and computer skills with excellent communication skills
To be a UK citizen or have a work permit for the UK.
